Aurora Slot Car Race Video #7
This Aurora slot car race features two McLaren Elvas, both Thunderjets, one yellow and one red. Once again, my son recorded the video while I tried to race both cars.
We had a hard time keeping both of these cars on the track. Several videos were recorded before we settled on this video, which was longer than the others.
I really like the body style of the McLaren Elva, I think it's a neat looking car. But even after we tune them up, they don't seem to run all that well.
The red McLaren Elva I either bought or received as a gift in 1969. I bought the yellow McLaren Elva off of eBay and gave the car to my son for Christmas. The car is in excellent condition.
A nice look at these two cars zipping through the "Y" track.
We have built a landscaping insert to fit nicely inside the "Y" track instead of using track supports which look fairly tacky! We will try to get pictures of the insert posted soon, it turned out great.
