Aurora Slot Car Race Video #6
Here is an Aurora slot car race between an orange AMX (Thunderjet) and a yellow Chaparral (Thunderjet). My son recorded the video while I raced both cars.
The Chaparral spins out of control in turn two at the end of the video. This was no problem for the AMX, which pushed the Chaparral out of the way and zipped on by.
If I remember correctly, the Chaparral was given to me as a Christmas gift in 1969.
The AMX was running a lot better than the Chaparral, but the Chapparral still had plenty enough power to spin out in a turn.
